Submitting a Claim from HECT

  1. Click our help button.

  1. Click "Submit a ticket"

  1. Enter your subject ie 'Claim [Tracking Code] - Loss'

  1. Select the 'Start a Claim' classification.

  1. Add in your contact name and email.

  1. Select the carrier you are claiming for.

  1. Confirm the tracking code to claim for (one code per ticket please).

  1. Select the date of label generation (if on a weekend, select the closest working day).

  1. Click "Set" to confirm the label creation date.

  1. Enter the "Delivery Postcode".

  1. Confirm the grounds of your claim.

  1. Enter the cost and retail value for the parcel.

  1. Attach your proof of cost, proof of retail cost. If claiming for misdelivery the denial of receipt form must be supplied. If claiming for damage, photographs must be provided.

  1. Click "Submit"
