Create a Yodel Drop Off Return in HECT

The Yodel Drop Off option only supports parcels weighing up to 10kg. Parcels over this weight must be booked as a collection with Yodel through eRin.


  1. Click "Send a Parcel"

  1. Add your item to be returned to the order.

  1. Ensure weights and dimensions are applied.

  1. (Optional) Select your chosen packaging type.

  1. Add in the customer's address (this will inform Yodel of the 'from' address).

  1. Ensure a valid phone number and email for the customer has been provided, as this is where the Yodel drop off code is sent, and the parcel cannot be returned without this.

  1. Select the "Yodel Return Barcode" service. The return address is set at the Yodel level and does not require specification in HECT.

  1. Click "Create Single Shipment"

  1. Click "Print Label"

  1. This label is for reference only as the customer will receive a code, and the shop will create the label once dropped off. However, the drop off code is circled, and the Yodel tracking code is highlighted, for your records.
