Configure HECT Shipping Rules

Click into 'Shipping Rules'

Prioritise your services (0 = highest priority) here, the highest priority service will be the default when shipping.

Customise rule/service names to aid your team in understanding each service's intended use - e.g 'Next Day 0-2kg'.

Select which service to apply your rule configuration to.

Click into 'Configuration' for advanced service configuration options.

Lock services to specific countries based on your chosen destinations (ISO Code based).

Don't forget to save your changes!
Set a minimum/maximum price band per service. This is based on the total order value. If the price falls within the minimum and maximum values, the order will default to this service, dependent on other parameters within the rule.

Set minimum/maximum weight parameters (kg). This is based on the total order weight. If the weight falls within the minimum and maximum values, the order will default to this service, dependent on other parameters within the rule.

Set minimum and maximum parameters for the width, length and height of the parcel (cm). If ALL dimensions fall within the minimum and maximum values, the order will default to this service, dependent on other parameters within the rule.

Set minimum and maximum parameters for the inventory items count. This applies to the total number of items in the order. If the number of items fall within the minimum and maximum values, the order will default to this service, dependent on other parameters within the rule.

Create a comma separated list of postcodes to be either included or excluded from the service. If excluding a postcode list from one rule, they must be included in all other shipping rules for the service calculation to be valid. If the parcel is being sent to a postcode in the 'exclude list', this rule will discount the service as a viable option.

Rules requiring a comma separated list must follow the format of 'example1,example2,example3'. Adding spaces will invalidate the list and prevent the rule engine from accurately calculating service eligibility.
Create a comma separated list of words to be either included or excluded from the service (e.g flat, farm, park). If excluding a keyword, they must be included in another shipping rule for the service calculation to be valid. If the parcel is being sent to an address where address line one only contains a keyword in the 'exclude list', this rule will discount the service as a viable option.

Create a comma separated list of channel shipping services to be either included or excluded from the service (Next_Day, Two Day Shipping,Domestic_Next_Day). If excluding a channel shipping service name from one rule, they must be included in another shipping rule for the service calculation to be valid. If the parcel is being sent where the selected channel shipping service is in the 'include list', the rule engine will default to the mapped service.

Mapped channel shipping services must match the naming convention of the sales channel exactly in order to be included in the rule calculation. This parameter only applies to sales channels integrated via API, and excludes manually created and CSV imported orders.
Parameters must be set to 'ON' in the drop down to be included in service eligibility calculation. The rule engine will ignore paramaters set to 'OFF'.
